Authority-ready LTA PROMPT and road diversion workflow

The workflow below can be adapted for contractors, developers, QPs and consultants depending on scope and submission stage.

Initial review

Confirm site location, road category, road safety constraints, road signage needs, work scope, public street impact, intended work duration, programme and whether prior LTA or agency comments exist.

Information request

Collect drawings, survey plans, method statements, temporary works details, traffic marshal proposal, road signage plan, photos, contractor sequence and any PE / Professional Engineer inputs.

Traffic design and drafting

Prepare traffic arrangement drawings and notes showing work zone, clear widths, barricades, warning signs, pedestrian route and access management.

Submission package

Compile the application information, drawings and supporting records for LTA.PROMPT or related agency submission route.

Authority comments

Review comments, coordinate amendments and prepare technical response language subject to available information and consultant responsibilities.

06

NOA / permit follow-up

Assist with follow-up until the project team receives the applicable LTA NOA, permit or authority outcome. Approval timing and conditions remain subject to LTA and other agencies.
